We were looking for a place just like this - simple, clean and real wok-fried cooking. This place is a bit unassuming when you walk in, but don't let it affect your decision to order-- the food is truly mouth-watering. Again, simple cooking made with great care! When the food comes out, it's HOT and you'll be ooohing and aaaahing over it just like me! If you're in the area, add this place to your neighborhood chinese take-out!
If you're just searching for really good chinese food, the stuff you expect to get when you order take-out -definitely order from Royal Chopstix @ Coit and SpringCreek - I can't speak for the other locations, but this local has never let us down. -

Although presentation is nice, the food is somewhat colorful, but the flavor is bland at best. We left 1/2 to 2/3 of our meals unfinished, Glad I have Kashi snacks back at the office. It wasn't even worth taking with us to eat later. Actually the food was more reminiscent of LaChoy Chinese food you can buy at the grocery store and take home to heat up. We both feel this was a mistake, will not be back again.
I do not see how anyone could write this so highly, there are competitors in the area that I have way better flavor for the same price. -

Ordered the king Pao chicken and a vegetable eggroll. The kungpao is comprised of mostly undercooked nearly raw carrots, same quality celery, and very tiny bits of chicken, sprinkled with a few peanuts and drenched in boiling hot sauce. Fried rice seems to be left over from yesterday's service. Portion size is plenty but still on the small size for the price. Better off taking your chances across the street with Panda Express where at least you can get a good serving of high quality vegetables. This dish was essentially a half pound worth of carrots and celery $.50 worth of chicken and $9 worth of sauce. It's noon and there are only 2 other people in here. Eesh...

So I've visited this location quite a few times since it's literally down the street & fairly cheap compared to most Asian spots in the Plano area. My only complaint is I wish they would stop being so STINGY with the portions. I guess a cup of protein then 2 cups of rice is okay right? Well for myself I'm starting to reconsider coming here because I want my MEAT & VEGGIES x2, fill the container to where it almost can't close I'm already paying $7 it won't kill me or your business if I keep coming back. Quantity vs quality ? The food is amazing! Quantity is getting worse though, more like a $4-5 meal for a child.
Customer service wise, well who am I'm actually gonna talk to? When you walk in nobody greets you or says anything. You just stand at the register until the woman comes out & just looks at you. You order, pay & just wait. I normally don't order a drink but this time I asked for a water cup & she stated she only had plastic cups (the kind you only use when you dine in). That's a bit unfortunate to say the least. Also if you order something without nuts PLEASE check your meal before you leave. I don't understand why restaurants fail to take consideration when you make certain requests. I've learned that from pasts orders here so I order meals that aren't normally made with nuts. -

This place isn't much to look at, but the food is good and relatively inexpensive. For two full meals and a very large container of soup, it was only $20.
The food also was made and packed up for my to-go order in around 10 minutes. At first, this made me weary that the food might not be cooked all the way. However, it tasted delicious and made me happy I had chosen to try out this little whole in the wall.
That's what it is, by the way. So much so, that I've never really noticed it - and I have been going to the gym and Starbucks in the same shopping center as Royal Chopstix for almost 3 years. There was only one other person in the restaurant when I walked in, which is sad because it was prime time for dinner and I want this place to stay open so I can get a wonton soup bigger than my face for $4.
